Closed Tasks:

Initial Demo Preparation: Entire Team

Due Date: April 14th

Description: For this task, the team is worked on several smaller sub tasks in order to begin the process of constructing what our demoable MVP experience is going to look like. For example these tasks includec thoughts on how our users will interact with the application, how we can easily show them our features, and catering a lively experience so that they don't see a barren new profile upon entering the app.

Takeaways:

  • For our demo, attendees will be able to create their own Juncture account, and we will have each account prep populated with a "digital past" showing past events uses have "attended" and photo galleries from those events.

  • we have decided to have one catered dummy google account that all attendees will have access to sync to their Juncture account, showing their "schedule" for the following couple of weeks. (users may also opt to use their own google account to sync if they so choose (such is the ultimate intent of Juncture).

  • We created event-creation based tasks catered around other dummy accounts so that attendees can have goals to attempt, who's aim is to show off Juncture's core offering.

Promotional Website: Jill

Due Date: April 24th

Description: For this task, we created Juncture's initial promotional website.

Takeaways:

  • Using Framer made the process a breeze, as it allowed us to directly copy + paste elements from Figma into Framer.

  • We structured the website around the end to end journey of using the app, showing the steps of event creation and highlighting memories for post-event reflection.

Promotional Imagery: Jill

Due Date: April 24th

Description: For this task, the team consolidated our imagery assets and designed a few key promotional visuals for this deliverable.

Takeaways:

Expo Poster Draft: Nikki

Due Date: April 24th

Description: For this task, our team used the lobby poster assets to construct a new poster for our expo booth at the DIGM Showcase.

Takeaways:

  • We created a few iterations for our expo poster draft and focused on including necessary info to introduce our app and incorporate our branding.

  • There were a few points of interest to improve on:

    • Using the best hierarchy for our content to be read in a digestible way.

    • Seamlessly presenting a QR code linking to our promotional website.

    • highlighting our core features in a simple way.

Elevator Pitch: Leah

Due Date: April 14th

Description: For this task, we are took another look at our existing verbiage surrounding Juncture and constructed a comprehensive elevator pitch that outlines our product offering.

Takeaways:

  • Using key feedback we tweaked out in our in-progress elevator pitch to our final version.

  • We feel that this pitch accurately describes our product and it's unique offering to anyone unfamiliar with Juncture.

User Journey Storyboarding & Shot List: Durando, Leah, Alex

Due Date: April 14th

Description: For this task, our team used our storyboarding activities to create a cohesive script and shot list for our upcoming filming this weekend.

Takeaways:

  • This task encompassed initial brainstorming, story arc design, and visual ideation of how we wanted certain scenes to look, before finally created a polished script and shot list.

  • While this took a lot of effort and significant discussion for everyone to be aligned on the direction of our user story video, we feel that our finalized script and shot list, if executed in line with our vision, will accurately capture Juncture's niche offering for those attempting to plan social events.
